On 19th January, 2025, the Shanto-Mariam-Honghe Confucius Classroom successfully hosted the cultural soiree of Happy Chinese New Year meets the students of Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology (SMUCT). The event showcased the rich traditions of Chinese culture to students and faculty members.  Distinguished guests，including Mr. Li Shaopeng, Cultural Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh, Prof. Mostafizur Haque, Chairman of SMUCT's Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. Shah E Alam, Vice-Chancellor of SMUCT, Dr. Par Mosiur Rahman, Registrar of SMUCT, attended the event and joined the students in celebrating the Chinese New Year.
